Cloneability

What clones well — and why.

The best ParentCos are not pre-revenue AI experiments. They are mature data analytics businesses with real customers, real revenue, and proprietary data assets — now adding an AI layer on top of what they already monetize. They have not yet expanded internationally, and Brazil is the natural excellent market. The Cloneability Scorecard is how we identify them.

How to read it.

A company scoring above 7.5 enters formal Cloneability diligence. Between 6 and 7.5, we track quarterly. Below 6, we pass — cleanly, quickly, and with the reasoning shared back to the founder.

The ideal ParentCo profile

Data first. AI second. Brazil next.

We look for companies where the data business is already thriving. AI is the next growth layer, not the only bet. That combination — proven monetization plus AI upside — is what makes a clone financeable, executable, and valuable on reintegration.

Thriving data-driven business

Repeatable revenue, sticky customer relationships, and proprietary data assets that are hard to replicate.

AI as a layer, not a leap

The company is adding AI capabilities on top of existing workflows and data, not betting the company on an unproven model.

No international footprint in Brazil

The market is open. The product works. The customers exist. But the company is not yet operating there directly.

Founder alignment

The leadership team sees regional expansion as additive, not dilutive — and is willing to license, partner, and co-govern.

Live examples

Jureva and Videoreach show the path.

Jureva and Videoreach are early-stage, AI-first companies already operating in Brazil. They validate the model and the market. Our primary sourcing focus, however, is on mature data analytics businesses — companies with established revenue and data assets that are now becoming AI companies and have not yet expanded into Brazil.
